540 is looking for a Software Engineer to help improve the efficiency of acquisition and procurement within the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). We are looking for a startup-minded individual to work on an Agile team focusing on a combination of legacy application management (VB/ASP.NET) and modern full stack development (Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript / Typescript, Angular, Azure). Ideally, you have experience leading out a small team and driving initiatives.
On this project, you will be supporting the development and implementation of a wide variety of applications that facilitate the sharing of financial information for the FDIC. These include both legacy and modernized applications that use cutting-edge tech to gather and display information about banks, their branches and a multitude of financial records. With better standardization across these source systems and services, the public will have better insight into the health of the financial industry with data provided by FDIC.

Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: per client requirements, must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain an FDIC Public Trust clearance
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (preferred)
