We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the sales team in the pre-sales process and in helping to close deals with new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in cybersecurity, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and team members.


This role will work closely with product management and business development leads to help CodeHunter build a sales program from the ground level. The Sales Engineer will have a key role in lead generation and qualification, pipeline development, customer acquisition, contribution to sales and revenue goals, and overall business success.

Responsibilities


  • Serve as the technical sales resource for CodeHunter’s enterprise cybersecurity product
  • Partner with the sales team to plan, prepare and execute deals in a complex sales cycle, acting as a technical advisor and providing the necessary information and resources to effectively sell our products and services

  • Evaluate prospective customers' security ecosystems including security posture, policies, incumbent software, and other services in order to understand the customer's technical requirements
  • Work closely with the sales team to design and present solutions to meet the prospects’ business requirements as well as technical and compliance requirements to the value-drivers of CodeHunter's solution
  • Provide technical support and training to prospective customers during the sales process including preparing technical presentations, demos, and proposals as needed
  • Stay current on industry trends, market requirements, and competitive offerings and provide regular feedback to the company management team

  • Work with product development teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of the market and are aligned with our sales efforts
  • Work with the product development and marketing teams to identify co-marketing strategies and tactics, aid in market intelligence gathering including contributing to competitive positioning, and develop sales collateral and other materials

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales role
  • Strong understanding of various technical concepts, including software development, network architecture, and cloud computing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to build strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Ability to explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Note: This is not a remote position
