DUTIES:
- Develop long term project plans, implementation roadmaps and assist in strategic planning.
- Manage delivery of strategic projects and facilitate meetings to solicit, define, and manage requirements for internally and externally developed systems focusing on Policy & Claims Administrative System, Datawarehouse and Digital Platforms.
- Define the business requirements and technology-independent process and data models for technology solutions that meet the needs for various business areas and will bridge the gap between the business users and technology solution providers (e.g., vendors, infrastructure team, and development & QA team).
- Work with senior IT Management and business stakeholders to develop project plans and assist in developing ROI and business success measures.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT delivery teams, in translating business requirements into meaningful technology solutions
- Key areas of business analysis and project management responsibilities: Custom developed software, Off the shelf packaged software, Data Warehouse and Business Analytics, external facing Websites and Portals
- Facilitate meetings to understand business processes, gather requirements, simplify and translate them into technical requirements and solutions
- Develop comprehensive end to end business use cases and document business processes, use cases, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams
- Review use cases, solution design and acceptance criteria with business users and ensure buy-in from all stakeholders
- Design & review test cases and perform quality assurance through beta testing; facilitate user acceptance testing with business users and obtain sign-off before releases
- Create direct channels of communication with the development teams to get the job done without managerial oversight
- Manage project scope, development, testing, acceptance and deployment from start to finish
- Manage project issues and risks and pro-actively work with business, IT and vendor delivery teams in resolution
- Implement comprehensive management plan across the projects, facilitate stakeholder meetings to keep all parties informed on the project status
- Coordinate with work groups and maintain good relations with all vendors
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Responsible for documentation deliverables including project plans, deployment plans, issues list, status reports, and meeting agendas with action items.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with IT Analysis and/or Project Management. Acceptable job titles may include Business Analyst, Scrum Master or Project Manager.Other required experience:
- 5 years of business use case development experience
- 5 years of experience with requirements specification and development, inclusive of process/functional requirements, JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, and process flow diagrams
- 3 years of experience managing project scope, development, testing, acceptance and deployment from start to finish
- 5 years of experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of
- Business Analysis within digital transformation projects
- Datawarehouse Concepts related to ETL, relational database systems, SQL languages & data structures.
