Overview:Do you have an inquisitive nature and enjoy investigation, organization and finding ways to improve operations? Are you skilled at crafting clear communications which promote understanding? Are you self-driven, results-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities? United Educators seeks to fill a newly-established role for a Resolutions Department Coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate department functions, operation and events. Provide general organizational support to ensure effective operation of the department.Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule and coordinate all Department meetings including collecting agenda topics, creating and distributing meeting materials, etc.
  • Schedule member calls including creation and distribution of meeting materials
  • Capture and distribute minutes for all department meetings
  • Coordinate department conference registrations and professional memberships
  • Plan for and schedule employee celebrations and team events
  • Manage new user onboarding, department organizational charts and seating arrangements
  • Assist in gathering information to respond to requests from Accounting or outside auditors
  • Coordinate the reception of Department visitors (e.g. greeting at entrance, guiding to designated meeting locations, etc.)
  • Prepare and distribute periodic reports of department metrics, productivity reporting and related workforce tracking.
  • Provide general customer support 
  • Create, proofread, edit and distribute department communications
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination across teams
  • Assist Director, Resolution Operations and Administration with new hire orientation and training.
  • Manage Resolution Department contacts in Salesforce
  • Conduct claim research activities as assigned
  • Coordinate and lead special projects as needed

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Department Administrator or Office Manager or similar role
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong comfort with technology and software applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and responsibilities, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to understand moderately complex documents relating to insurance, litigation, regulations, etc. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be organized, and able to complete projects with limited supervision
