About the role:
The Swirlds Labs’ Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications is a ‘jack of all trades’ who will be primarily responsible for awareness building for Hedera and Swirlds Labs, including ownership of all social media channels (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Reddit, etc.) as well as top-of-funnel and enablement content (corporate decks, videos, blogs/vlogs, social cards, etc.). Additional responsibilities include providing support to the Director of PR and CMO as it relates to media relations, corporate marketing initiatives, and brand positioning (company descriptors, brand guidelines, naming convention, etc).
This role will also own all paid social and advertising campaigns for corporate marketing and provide guidance and support to the other functions (product, DevRel) for paid social and digital advertising campaigns.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
Social media/digital advertising
- Owning organic social media for Swirlds Labs and Hedera (with oversight from the Council), including amplification of relevant news stories, blogs/vlogs, events, speaking engagements, product announcements, ecosystem project updates, and more
- Monitoring social channels intra-day and respond to and interact with the ecosystem
- Creating engaging content (social tiles, video snippets, vlogs, etc.) that helps position Hedera and Swirlds Labs to both enterprise and web3 dApp builders, decision-makers, and influencers
- Supporting DevRel, field marketing, product marketing, PR, and event teams with paid social media campaigns and digital advertising initiatives
- Collaborating with web/graphic design on updates to the website, landing pages/microsites, and templates
- Owning digital advertising campaigns as needed for corporate marketing and other functions
- Managing social media platforms, creating reporting dashboards, tracking, and communicating key metrics as it relates to social media
PR, Brand Positioning, Enablement
- Supporting the Head of PR with media relations (PR agency, PR approvals, quotes, holding statements, crisis comms, etc.)
- Supporting the CMO with brand positioning, message development, rebrands, corporate comms (i.e., newsletters), website updates, collateral material, foundational decks, landing pages, videos, blogs, etc.
- Assisting with vendor management of martech tools (meltwater, social media monitoring, etc.)
Qualification Requirements:
- 6-8 years of corporate marketing, social media, and PR experience in web3, fintech, or B2B software
- Experience with social media management platforms, Google Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Reddit Ads, and other ad platforms
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and/or other creative tools
- Experience with marketing automation (Marketo, Pardot, or Hubspot) preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical content into engaging social media posts
- Strong passion for building and engaging with a diverse audience–web3 community, corporates, sister entities, strategic partners, and more
