- Provides daily support to the operations of the department and administrative support to the Office Manager.
- Supports the delivery of patient care and functions in a multi-disciplinary environment, which requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Oversees the daily/monthly expenditures, staffing and overtime hours.
- Ensures compliance and knowledge of the company’s Code of Conduct by all employees to ensure an ethical work environment.
- Evaluates each employee’s performance and provides appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards.
- Seamlessly transition yourself, team and offices to new ways of working and processes.
- Develop and maintain schedules to ensure that all operating processes are completed.
- Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset and ability to execute within company standards in any situation.
- Supervision of patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, facility maintenance and cash posting with the support of a well-developed management structure.
- Create an inspiring, positive team environment by exhibiting exemplary leadership shills at all times. Provide guidance, instruction and training to team members to ensure they are performing at their maximum potential.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to managers and follow through to ensure completion.
- Interview, hire and train a productive medical office team and conducts performance reviews
- Ensure patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws and other federal, state and local regulations.
- Coordinate staff meetings for administrative and clinical staff.
- Ensure staffing is appropriate for day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of office management experience
- Applicant must demonstrate progressive responsibility
