We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Representative to join our team and drive the sales of our ARRO product. The Account Representative will focus on generating sales by acquiring and developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients, primarily within state government entities. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in SaaS product sales and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities |
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain clients for the ARRO product.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, particularly within state and local government agencies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target accounts.
- Complete successful proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide technology innovation and leadership to guide clients in technology or management consulting options.
- Oversee project contracts, statements of work, and change order requests.
- Manage project profit and loss, including risks and opportunities impacting profit.
- Track and report monthly progress of revenue against budget forecasts.
- Support effective staffing levels for each client to ensure optimal service delivery.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Primary Skills:
- 3-5 years SaaS sales experience.
- Proven sales experience, preferably with state government entities, selling a product and/or service.
- Strong client relationship skills and executive presence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop lead generation strategies and marketing plans for new accounts.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Secondary Skills:
- Experience in supporting or leading sales within an IT or management consulting organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight deadlines.
- Effective team leadership and direction-providing abilities.
- Limited travel availability.
Educational Requirements:
- College degree preferred.
