Position: Contracts Administrator
The Contracts Administrator will handle contract administration for government and commercial clients to include any associated subcontract administration. This will require a wide range of skills for performing contract and subcontract pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout responsibilities including reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ), negotiating Teaming Agreements (TA) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), client negotiations, document creation, knowledge of compliance regulations, and setting up projects in a cost accounting system.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review and analyze government or commercial solicitations and advise management of all relevant or potential contract issues.
- Review, negotiate and coordinate TAs and NDAs (NDAs) with prime and subcontractors
- Generate, issue and coordinate solicitations to subcontractors and ensure compliance with RFQ requirements
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions of government and private-sector solicitations, contract awards, and contract modifications.
- Issue, track, negotiate, and implement subcontract and independent contractor agreements and associated funding documents
- Manage assigned contracts and subcontracts from inception to contract closeout.
- Monitor awarded contracts and subcontracts for compliance with terms and conditions
- Monitor and ensure that all contractual reporting requirements are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Identify contract and subcontract issues, and provide leadership with recommended solutions
- Work with internal teams to setup projects in the company accounting system.
- Work closely with management to include Program Managers and C-level executives on proposal compliance and submittals and any contractual issues that arise during performance.
- Maintain orderly filing system consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education, and Credentials include:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contracts and subcontracts administration within the federal government sector
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong familiarity with FAR and DFAR compliance regulations required.
- Experience with negotiating NDAs, TAs, contracts and subcontracts
- Proficient computer skills, including strong experience with MS Office software suite and various contract and accounting software applications.
- Strong experience with Word and Excel is a must
- A current and active Secret security clearance is required. Jobseekers who do not have a current and active Secret security clearance will not be considered for this role.
- Experience with setting up projects in Deltek Costpoint preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment while successfully manage the day-to-day repetitive administrative tasks of the role.
