Job Description
- Contribute towards techno-commercial evaluation of energy storage and hydrogen technologies (fuel cells, electrolyzer etc.) as required by the CES clients.
- Performance evaluation of technologies, competitive benchmarking with other technologies, evaluation of manufacturing process and facilities and other related tasks.
- Contributing towards battery value chain processes and material analysis.
- Develop technology review reports upon the above conducted analysis.
- Develop reports, content for IESA reports, and expand IESA service offerings. Contribute towards the organization of various skill development activities being pursued under IESA Academy such as Masterclass, Hands on Training Sessions, etc.
- Assist in competitive assessment and market entry strategy reports for emerging tech clients
- Develop protocols for performance testing of energy storage devices including but not limited to cycle life testing, calendar life, energy and power density, impedance measurement, self-discharge measurement, etc.
- Analysis of obtained data and graphical presentation of results including preparation of PowerPoint point presentations and word reports.
Qualifications
- A good understanding of common battery performance related terminology
- In-depth knowledge of battery materials, and their performance and data analysis
- The candidate should have excellent planning and time management skills
- The candidate must possess a scientific bent of mind and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must for discussion with other team members as well as with clients and for report preparation
- Good skills in using all MS Office software.
- Experience report making skills in power point and long -form if writing in MS word format is essential.
Instrumentation skills:
- Battery cyclers (Arbin, Biologic, etc), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, other characterization tools.
Educational qualifications:
- PhD degree/Masters in Materials & Materials with focus on energy storage
- Research and testing experience in energy storage devices is desirable
