Your role as an React Native Engineer goes beyond coding; it's about creating meaningful connections. Each line of code, each innovative solution you bring, will directly influence millions of user interactions daily, defining how they connect, communicate, and experience digital social environments.Additionally, your cross-collaboration with the TypeScript SDK development team ensures that our technological foundations remain robust, adaptable, and forward-thinking.

Your team:
As part of the dynamic SDK Engineering Team at Amity Social Cloud, you will be immersing yourself in a collaborative environment that thrives on innovation. Our team is a blend of passionate engineers dedicated to enhancing the in-app social experiences for users worldwide. Working closely with SDK experts across platforms, our React Native subgroup is critical in bridging the gap between web and mobile app experiences.We follow Agile methodology, actively participating in scrum ceremonies, such as planning and retrospectives.
Our products range from cloud-based social SDKs and UIKits to community networks and messaging services.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization processes of our React Native UIKit, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Web SDK team, integrating React Native components and ensuring feature consistency and compatibility.
- Participate in regular code reviews, adhere to best coding practices, and mentor junior engineers in maintaining codebase standards.
- Regularly engage with Web SDK, Mobile SDK, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to align project goals, gather feedback, and determine development priorities.
- Dedicate time to understanding the latest advancements in React Native and TypeScript. Implement newfound insights into our product line, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
Your ideal profile:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bring 2-4 years of dedicated experience in React Native development, with a portfolio showcasing impactful UI components. Familiarity with TypeScript is a strong advantage.
- Exhibit robust problem-solving skills, with an ability to tackle complex challenges methodically and efficiently.
- Thrive in team settings, communicate effectively, and value feedback and collaborative brainstorming.
- Stay updated with the latest in React Native and TypeScript landscapes, showing an eagerness to implement new technologies and methodologies.
