Capture Analyst
About the role
Assist the activities of the business development team with research and analysis of opportunities within existing and potential markets. Specifically, provide the full range of technical, administrative, and analytical support across the entire opportunity life-cycle, from identification through the post-proposal submission. Utilize a variety of web-based tools to identify opportunities that are inline with the organization capabilities and service offerings. Gathers, compiles, and analyze data related to new opportunity identification, and communicate findings to the capture team in written and oral formats.
Organize, plan, and support pipeline review meetings, synthesizing, aggregating, streamlining and organizing research data into logical formats to inform disposition actions for identified opportunities. Conduct general market research related to potential competitors, including incumbent contracts, funding, staffing, scope of work, skill levels, etc. Assist in performing pricing and market analysis and coordinating pricing for the various opportunity pursuit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for research and analysis to provide decision support and consultation regarding market and industry risks and opportunities.
- Generates leads and identifies potential contract opportunities by researching various resources and reviews all federal government websites for relevant postings; communicates opportunities to the appropriate principal/partner/business unit by expert knowledge government websites including SAM.gov, e-Buy, GovWin, DACIS, and other online resources.
- Uses statistical techniques to analyze market research data; presents results and make recommendations to internal stakeholders and executives
- Monitors trends, planning scenarios and competitive issues that impact Business Unit/contract strategy and communicates results to strategic and operational planning areas.
- Responsible for researching and advising on strategic planning issues identified by senior management requiring substantial independent analysis and judgment.
- Conducts analysis to monitor planning scenarios, market/industry trends, and identify competitive threats and opportunities, and communicates the outcome of this analysis to management.
- Develops market, competitor, industry and key customer SWAT analysis working with research, evaluation, planning and sales areas and acts as a professional resource for these areas.
- Assists in evaluating the impact of state and federal regulatory policies and trends on key aspects of the company's operation and develops policy recommendations from this analysis.
- Provides corporate tactical and strategic objectives including Subsidiary Business (JVs) through the collection and manipulation of Government spending information and the collection of business intelligence.
- Conducts external and internal research leveraging existing business tools (GovWin IQ, usaspending.gov, FPDS), reference material, literature, media and other open source data.
- Provides in-depth discovery of potential market partners on contract opportunities
- Provides research and analysis for potential mergers and/or acquisitions
- Responsible for the maintenance and operation of the IntelliDyne CRM system (TechnoMile); gathering all information from Business Development, Capture, and Proposals for data manipulation and presentation for required reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly
- Participates in Federal Agency Industry Days as well as other various online webinars to stay informed on all aspects of the market landscape.
- Analysis President’s budget as well as other federal strategic plans to communicate to executives key areas of interest and potential for growth.
- Schedules management for BD team, including Outlook calendars, meeting management, Deep Dive sessions.
- Creates and Maintains various artifacts for BD team, including PowerPoint presentations, reports and spreadsheets

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree and
- Two to five years related experience Government contracting, proposal research, business development experience
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to analyze, categorize, and logically group data in written and graphical reports.
- Ability to plan and prioritize strategically
- Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personnel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to multitask with multiple high-priority demands in an intense, deadline-driven environment
- Very strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

- Intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills
- Experience with all other MS Office applications
