Job Summary:
Directs and coordinates activities for SBS Customer and is engaged in the repair and maintenance of semi-trailers by performing the following duties personally through both Star Branches and third party vendors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Every Star employee is expected to take care of their health and work safely at all times for themselves, their families and the safety of their coworkers• Understand and comply with Star’s Core Values and company policies in everything you do at Star• Communicate, model, and monitor compliance with Star’s Core Values and policies and incorporate them into performance plans, coaching and corrective action• Reviews all work order requests to determine work priorities and coordinates the activities of SLC Branches and third party vendors• Prepares estimates for trailer repairs and maintenance as needed• Approves all repair and maintenance estimates above an assigned threshold prepared by SLC Branches and/or third party vendors• Responsible for maintaining SBS Customer satisfaction by completing the following: Review event status for all assigned customers daily. Ensure all follow-up communications are current and submitted timely to assigned customer. Manage AR of assigned customers. Provide account synopsis to customer at the customer’s requested frequency.• Provides SLC Portal training for assigned SBS Customers• Reports weekly to SBS Management customer status and any follow-up that is needed• Responsible for assigned customer’s PM compliance• Responsible for the updating of all assigned customer’s profiles• Manages customer disputes through resolution• Assist in ongoing training of SBS staff when necessary• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
