Job Description
As a Research Engineer, you will be responsible for building and evolving innovative ML & DL based solutions. You are expected to have in-depth knowledge and acumen to understand the on-going research and harness it to develop products that are ready for the market.In this role you will get a chance to work on some of the most challenging and interesting products that have a significant impact on revenue and user experience.
At least an undergraduate degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics from Tier-1 college.
2+ years of experience at cutting edge organizations or startups, 1+ years for MS Research, PhD Candidates.
Code, develop, design, and architect features. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship.
Awareness about the State of the Art techniques in Machine Learning & Data Science space.
Proactive attitude, curiosity, and persistence to go the extra mile.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical modeling and optimization techniques
Excellent programming skills in Python, with a strong foundation in programming, optimization techniques, and software design.
Ability to understand & implement research papers.
Experience in architecting and implementing high-performance machine learning services
Proficiency with core techniques of linear algebra (as relevant for implementation of ML models) and common optimization algorithms
Expertise in implementing deep learning models and frameworks.
Experience implementing ML automation, MLOps and associated tools.
Hands-on experience in model compression techniques, including parameter quantization, etc.
Experience in handling large amounts of data.
Familiarity with SOTA transformer based models.
Proven experience in solving fintech problems with ML and optimisation techniques is a plus
Published research papers in Tier-A conferences is a plus
Practical experience in solving problems with Reinforcement Learning is a plus
Open-source contributions would be highly regarded.
