Summary/Objective


Grunt Style is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist to drive our e-commerce strategies and merchandising vision. This role focuses on enhancing the consumer experience and boosting sales through our website. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure our product catalog is current, accurate, and optimized for SEO.

Key Responsibilities:


Product Catalog Management:


  • Maintain and update product data throughout the product life cycle.
  • Ensure product content and imagery are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work with E-commerce and Merchandising teams to optimize and enhance the product listings on the website
  • Assist in maintaining markdown calendar and product life cycle changes

E-Commerce and SEO Optimization:


  • Collaborate with E-commerce and IT teams to enhance the website's user experience.
  • Optimize product listings, site search terms, and navigation to improve product relevance and SEO.
  • Optimize site search terms and site navigation to drive product relevance
  • Lead front-end and assist back-end SEO initiatives.

Content Creation and Collaboration:


  • Create compelling product copy and SEO content using best practices.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams to align plans and assortment needs.
  • Maintain the cross-channel campaign calendar through Creative Request Submissions.

Campaign and Inventory Management:


  • Monitor inventory levels for website products, especially for highlighted campaigns and discontinued items.
  • Maintain a catalog of landing pages to support advertising and marketing initiatives. 

Communication and Coordination:


  • Collaborate with Marketing, ECOM, and Creative teams to ensure all needs are met to ensure a premium shopping experience for customers through organic and marketing efforts
  • Communicate product updates, including new products, markdowns, and landing page changes, to relevant teams.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience


  • 4 year degree in Marketing, Business, or other related area of study.
  • 3-5 years in E-Commerce industry or industry agency
  • Platform Experience; preferably in Shopify
  • Basic understanding level of Google Sheets/ Excel
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience or interest in online shopping

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers.

  • Long periods of working on a computer and communicating via phone.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low. (PPE will be provided if necessary)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is an onsite full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Must be able to work extended hours as needed, to include weekends.
