- Lead the development and execution of the overall creative vision and direction for client deliverables, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations.
- Inspire and mentor the creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity.
Creative Strategy Development:
- Develop and articulate creative and engagement strategies for customer programs and initiatives, aligning with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate creative strategies into client programs, marketing and business plans, ensuring a cohesive approach.
Automotive Experience (Essential):
- Possess significant experience working to support automotive and dealer retail, with a strong preference for experience in training, dealer communication, and dealer programs.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of various dealership job roles, departments, and functions, such as sales, service, parts, and finance.
- Leverage this knowledge to develop custom programs designed to engage and move dealer audiences through the following stages:
- Understanding and Awareness: Communicate effectively to ensure dealership staff comprehend the key concepts, products, and services relevant to their roles.
- Skill and Application: Develop content and deliver strategies for live and online training events that enable dealership staff to apply their knowledge and skills effectively in their daily tasks.
- Advocacy and Influence: Foster a sense of enthusiasm and loyalty among dealership staff, encouraging them to become brand advocates and positively influence their colleagues and customers.
- Apply automotive dealership experience in creating tailored communication strategies, training materials, and events that resonate with the unique needs and challenges faced by dealership staff in various roles and departments.
Creative Deck Development:
- Lead the creation of engaging creative decks for client presentations, pitches, and internal reviews.
- Ensure all creative presentations effectively communicate concepts, strategies, and deliverables in a clear and impactful manner.
Campaign Strategy:
- Develop innovative campaign strategies that drive engagement, awareness, and conversion for clients programs.
- Oversee the execution of campaign strategies, ensuring they are on-brand, and engaging
Lead Video Script Writing:
- Lead the creative direction and writing of video scripts, ensuring they are engaging, on-brand, and effectively communicate the intended message.
- Manage freelance script writers
- Collaborate with video production teams to ensure the creative vision is realized in the final product.
Product and Service Marketing Creative Strategy and Writing:
- Develop and oversee the creative strategy and writing for marketing materials related to products and services, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and drive business results.
- Work closely with product marketing teams to understand product features, benefits, and positioning and translate them into compelling creative content.
Copywriting Collaboration with the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Team and AI Bot training:
- Collaborate closely with the ISD team to develop and refine copy that supports instructional design and training materials.
- Ensure all written content is engaging, informative, and aligns with overall creative and (ISD) instructional goals.
Leveraging Generative AI:
- Lead efforts to integrate generative AI into the creative process, exploring innovative ways to enhance creative outputs and streamline workflows.
- Stay current with advancements in AI technologies and evaluate their potential applications within the creative team.
- Collaborate with technical teams to test and implement AI tools, ensuring they align with the company's creative objectives and enhance the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in creative direction and marketing.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to enhance the creative process, tools, and team capabilities.
- Represent the creative team in client meetings, providing insights and recommendations that align with client goals and expectations.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in creative direction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Significant experience (5+ years preferred) working within or closely with automotive dealerships, particularly in training, dealer communication, and dealer programs
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven track record of developing and executing creative strategies that drive engagement and results
- Deep understanding of automotive dealership operations, including job roles, departments, and functions
- Expertise in creating custom programs that move dealer audiences from awareness to advocacy
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide creative teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
- Proficiency in creative deck development and presentation
- Advanced skills in video script writing and creative direction
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
- Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools, and their application in creative processes
- Understanding of digital marketing platforms and how to build multi-modal campaigns
