Dark Wolf Solutions is currently seeking a

Talent Acquisition Associate


to assist with developing and executing proactive recruitment strategies to help grow our company. The successful recruiter will be able to build a talent pipeline of qualified candidates to meet both existing and anticipated resource needs. This individual will assist with the management of company recruiting while continuously building strong networks and developing innovative and creative techniques to source talent in the technical and government sectors. The successful recruiter will be able to work on a collaborative team made up of other senior and junior recruiters.

This position is located in Herndon, VA.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate and communicate with the entire recruiting team to focus hiring initiatives to provide technical solutions for government customers. 
  • Partner closely with leadership to support the talent acquisition process from requisition approval to signing of offer.
  • Document all recruiting activities conducted.
  • Directly source and develop passive candidates through applicant tracking system, networking, job board searches, social media, research, networking events, college events and other strategies.
  • Review resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Conduct a high volume of initial phone screens to assess availability, interest level, compensation and basic qualifications and refer qualified candidates to the correct hiring managers.
  • Assist with driving and guiding candidates through the entire recruiting process.
  • Manage applicant tracking system including updating applicant status throughout the process, phone screen synopsis, and documentation of all feedback from hiring managers.
  • Assist in the development and lead the deployment of various marketing material as it relates to recruiting and employer branding.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to address challenges and/or opportunities and to streamline and improve recruiting processes.
  • Support, develop, and maintain a thorough understanding of Dark Wolf’s business model, culture, hiring needs, and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Manage job postings on a variety of job boards and our company website.

Required Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience, experience in sales or marketing a plus
  • A basic level of technical understanding associated with software engineering, cybersecurity, and penetration testing
  • Excellent professional relationship management skills and a strong desire to be an integral part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent communication on the phone, in person, and strong writing skills
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills; self-motivated and capable of working with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to directly source talent at all levels, adopting and implementing creative sourcing methods
  • Experience with a broad range of recruitment tools including social media, networking platforms, and internet searches to generate prospects
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative company environment and attend in-person recruiting and social events 
  • Willingness for minimal travel to career fairs and other office locations

Desired Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Proven ability to directly source talent at all levels, adopting and implementing creative sourcing methods.
  • Experience with a broad range of recruitment tools including social media, networking platforms, and internet searches to generate prospects.
  • Experience using the Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse 
  • Professional experience supporting the intelligence community and the Department of Defense 

This position is located in Herndon, VA with remote flexibility, 2 days a week on site.
