Job Description
To plan and execute production jobs with the correct processes ( documentation, quality control checks, approvals, client procurement process compliance) and delivering final assets in a timely and cost-effective manner with collaboration of internal and external partners.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Effectively plan productions on account portfolio assigned.
- Identify and manage suppliers, costs & quotes, production planning and scheduling.
- Work closely with the catergory leads and their managers.
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers locally and on the African continent
- Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers.
- Prioritize scheduling and workflow to ensure work is delivered accurately, on time and according to the brief
- Notify timeously if a deadline will be missed/not met and report delays, problems, issues or difficulty on jobs
- Collaborate in delivering production commitment and meeting deadlines
KPI’S
- You must prepare production reports with learnings and recommendation after each production
- Timesheet must be correctly done and on time.
- 100% enforcement of production process and relevant documentation
- Manage production seamlessly using agreed process
- Ensure time efficiency and delivery per agreed delivery dates/briefs
- Ensure good Internal and external partner relationship with teams, clients and PHs.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 5 years working experience as a Traffic Manager or Production Manager in an Advertising Agency or in a similar environment (i.e. Radio) with 1 year being at mid-level
- Proficient in MS Office (Work / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
- Proficient using Apple products (i.e. Mac)
- Knowledge of and experience in Chase / Chase Scheduler / Google Docs / Adobe suite
- TTL & Digital experience are essential.
- A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Understand all communication disciplines.
- Understand advertising as a selling tool.
- Understand new technology and the application of with the creative process.
