We are seeking a Procurement/Acquisition Specialist with strong technical writing and facilitation skills to play a key role in client facing support in a procurement/acquisition environment. The position performs federal technical panel evaluation facilitation including meeting coordination and facilitation, documentation of technical comments, and development of final evaluation reports. The ideal candidate will have expert meeting facilitation, technical writing, and organizational skills. We are seeking 1099/C2C candidates with the ability to pass a public trust federal clearance.
Client Facing Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary client POC for TEP Facilitation task orders supporting a federal agency, responsible for regular interaction with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other federal customers
- Goal is to ensure solicitation evaluations and awards are conducted in a manner that minimizes risk of protest to the government
- Assists the Source Selection Authority (SSA) with development of proper templates, ensure appropriate TEP membership, and managing the evaluation process of the TEP
- Facilitates TEP meetings
- Monitors and coordinates participation of TEP members
- Ensures that scheduled deadlines for evaluation and reporting are met by adhering to the milestone schedule set for each technical evaluation panel
- Draft and submit TEP reports in a draft and final form and ensure that TEP findings are thoroughly documented, using the factors stated in the solicitation, in the reports provided to the SSA
- Prepares and submits bi-weekly and monthly reporting, and monitors task order burn rates and progress
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years of technical writing and meeting facilitation experience
- Preferred, though not required - Applied understanding of the federal acquisition process and proposal response process including:
- Acquisition planning
- Reviewing and writing Statements of Work
- Proposal evaluations
- Contractor performance benchmarks
- Tasks span entire contract life-cycle: pre-award, award, post-award and close out
- Contract Information management
- Excellent personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong MS SharePoint experience required
- Strong meeting facilitation skills
- Excellent project management, task management, and organizational skills
- Desire to work in a small company environment
