Job Summary:
Will direct and develop customer data management efforts, primarily supporting data quality initiatives to drive accuracy, consistency, and completeness of enriched data within the content database.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains database based on defined standards relative to medical surgical devices and supplies to ensure data quality for the GHX customer base.
- Manages the planning and development of design and procedures for metrics reporting.
- Contributes to the development of standards, processes, and procedures that support Content Operations goals and objectives.
- Perform a final review of the client clinical inventory valuation report to ensure all changes have been incorporated before delivery to client.
- Perform a final review of the client clinical/pharma inventory data to ensure all changes with respect to Manufacturing ID, unit of measure, quantity and price have been incorporated before delivery to QA.
- Review pre-inventory files for data quality and completion to be delivered to Inventory Specialists.
- Performs ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets to identify data issues and initiate corrective action.
- Propose solutions that will drive system processes and efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities/issues, defines, and manages continuous improvement projects.
- Help design/implement automation projects for process improvement/productivity.
- Leads the overall team and is responsible for its performance per GHX standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems/Engineering, preferably in a healthcare-related discipline.
- Graduate from Engineering/Pharmacy/Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in (Microbiology/Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology)
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in leading teams, Project Management, Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare Supply Chain, or related field.
- Candidates with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Project Management in the non-voice/KPO industry with healthcare/content background will be given preference.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must Have Skills:
- SQL experience for data querying and analysis with data content management experience
- High degree of proficiency in MS Excel/MS Access
- Experience leading midsize teams (10-30 people).
- Experience leading remote employees.
Good to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with classification standards like UNSPSC & other classification to medical/surgical classification standards is a plus.
- Qualified candidate should be able to understand and infer technical specifications and capture the most appropriate information into respective product headers like:
- Name of product, variant of products, features, pricing/UOM, brands,
- Manufacturer, vendor details/repackaging information etc.
- Ability to identify exact duplicate products and duplicate products across subsidiaries.
- Strong analytical skills in interpreting various data sets.
- Medical product and terminology knowledge preferred.
- Supply chain knowledge preferred.
- Coordinates and facilitates professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as provider/supplier advocate in relation to medical product data quality.
- Interface with customer/on-site teams, as necessary.
- Excellent communicator and self-driven individual who can work with minimal supervision preferred.
