About the role:
As a Staff Engineer at Nirvana, you will be pivotal in sculpting the foundation of our insurance platforms from the ground up. Collaborating closely with a dynamic team, including industry experts from Hiscox, AIG, and more, you'll lead the development of new products and optimize existing systems to scale seamlessly.
Key Projects/Deliverables:
Architect and deploy robust infrastructure for our new insurance products.
Drive integration of advanced technology to enhance system performance and customer interaction.
Mentor and lead a team dedicated to transforming the commercial insurance landscape.

About you:
8+ years of experience in system architecture and software development, with a strong preference for backgrounds in insurance, or related high-stakes services industries.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale software projects, improving system efficiencies, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
Proven critical thinker who makes decisions effectively under pressure.
Proactive self-starter who independently seeks out learning opportunities and leadership roles.
Hands-on approach with a bias for action, ready to tackle technical challenges directly.
Takes ownership of both successes and setbacks, always striving for improvement.
