Echo360 is seeking an expert practitioner and strategic Senior Director of Sales and Marketing Operations to lead and optimize our global go-to-market operations. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise-wide reporting, operational efficiency, and strategic support across our sales and marketing functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the edtech and SaaS industries, coupled with an expert level understanding of CRM tools, including Salesforce.com, HubSpot, NetSuite, Outreach and Gainsight.This position is FULLY REMOTE; we will consider candidates who are located in many, but not all, states within the United States. For US-based positions, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
Requirements
The Primary Responsibilities for this role include:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee and enhance the operational framework supporting Echo360’s global sales and marketing functions to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Demonstrate deep expertise in sales pipeline management, optimizing each stage to maximize conversion rates and revenue. Analyze and interpret sales funnel dynamics, trends, and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborative Efforts:
Foster a culture of collaboration by working closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams. Ensure alignment and seamless operational support through cross-functional teamwork.
Reporting & Analytics:
Develop and manage comprehensive enterprise-wide reporting systems to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support leadership in making data-driven decisions.
CRM Management:
Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of CRM tools and integrations including Salesforce.com, HubSpot, NetSuite, Outreach and Gainsight, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Data Hygiene Practices:
Implement and enforce best practices for data hygiene to ensure the accuracy, granularity, recency and reliability of data across all CRM and reporting systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance data accuracy across sales and marketing operations.
Data Governance:
Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices across all CRM and reporting systems.
Industry Expertise:
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and marketing operations to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Data Sciences
- 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing operations within the edtech and/or SaaS industries.
- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com, HubSpot, NetSuite, Outreach and Gainsight.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of sales pipeline management, sales funnel dynamics, and the ability to interpret complex data to develop actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience in driving operational excellence and implementing best practices in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Additional Job Details
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
