As a Head of People and Culture
As a Head of People and Culture, you will spearhead the development and execution of HR strategies that support the scaling of our global organization. You'll lead the charge in crafting policies and procedures that ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance across all territories. This role requires a strategic thinker able to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop HR strategies and practices for a globally scaling organization
- Develop and govern HR policies, procedures and guidelines, promoting consistency and fairness in their application- ensuring all local legislation is adhered to.
- Lead a team of specialists for day to day HR services and further develop an effective business partnership model that meets internal stakeholder expectations.
- Promote professional development of the organization by developing performance management strategies and training.
- Support cross organizational and cross functional teams in HR functions and take responsibility for the core deliverables of the people team.
- Encourage and strengthen organizational culture by collaborating with internal managers and advocating for good people practices to take place.
- Support leaders and people managers across the organization to effectively manage their team- provide effective solutions for leadership development.
- Develop workforce management strategies that help structure teams and help align with business objectives.
- Oversee and develop programs that enhance employee skills, career growth and leadership development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, to effectively connect with all levels of the organization and its international branches.
- A strategic mind with a hands-on approach to HR management.
- Experience in nurturing a motivational workplace culture that upholds the company’s values and mission.
Preferred
- Proven experience in leading HR functions in organizations specializing in algorithm prop trading, hedge fund and capital market backgrounds.
- Experience with managing organizational growth and building HR frameworks from scratch in a globally distributed company.
- Experience leading HR functions for global trading teams located in Singapore, China and Korea.
