TeamDynamix is looking for an
RFP Manager to grow our dynamic and collaborative team. This person is responsible for managing the RFP Team and all coordination activities around creating and managing Request for Proposal (RFP) projects for enterprise-level prospects in the Corporate, Higher Education, K-12, Non-Profit, and State, Local and Federal Government space.This resource will collaborate with internal stakeholders across TeamDynamix to craft tailored responses that effectively communicate TeamDynamix's value proposition and expertise to prospects.

The RFP Manager will manage the RFP Team and provide guidance to other teams involved in the proposal process.This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, change management, collaboration, project and process management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client- centric, dynamic environment focused on achieving business development success.

About the Role:


  • Lead, coach, and manage the RFP Team. Responsibilities include safety, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Oversee the RFP response process from start to finish. Responsible for responding to and supporting activities related to proposals, RFIs/RFPs, presentations, bids, and other activities relevant to prospecting and sales activities involving both prospective and existing clients.
  • Submit recommendations for qualifying RFPs and work collaboratively with the AVP of Pre-Sales when qualifying business.
  • Facilitate data collection, monitoring timelines and deliverables from various departments, formulating responses from our content database (Responsive), writing and editing new responses, and timely submission of proposals in varying formats.
  • Project manage proposal opportunity activity to include monitoring timelines, work quality, and deliverables of subject matter experts (SMEs) from various departments providing input.
  • Partner closely with Business Development team members on projects and proposals.
  • Serve as the administrator of Responsive (RFP Management Platform). Manage existing content and create new content as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across TeamDynamix including sales, legal, solutions engineering, marketing, professional services, human resources, security, finance and other departments to plan and create relevant and accurate proposal content.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create content and templates for proposal responses.

About You:


  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Employee development and management skills.
  • Ability to perform and deliver multiple projects accurately and on time.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Ability to aggregate information and write in clear, concise formats.
  • Capacity to be responsible, flexible, accountable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Highly experienced in working with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

Required Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of proposal writing experience.
  • 3+ years of team lead or management experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of proposal writing experience.
  • APMP Foundations certification.
  • Marketing, technical writing, or sales background.
  • Experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SaaS and IT.
  • RFP software experience, such as Responsive (formerly RFPIO), Qvidian, Loopio, etc.

What Does This Role Pay?


The wage range for this role contemplates the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including (but not limited to) skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TeamDynamix, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 to $120,000 plus a variable incentive. A member of our People Operations team can discuss compensation with you further should you be asked to complete a phone interview.
