Job Responsibilities


  • Consult with relevant stakeholders to understand, define, and document functional requirements for reporting and data sharing needs
  • Work with Development team for enhancing and troubleshooting existing data feeds, as well as building new integrations with various financial data aggregation firms 
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of Firms on existing data feeds/reports
  • Manage Projects and enhancement prioritization for the team
  • Monitor a case queue for external client enquiries with regards to the data shared with various financial data aggregation firms
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business or client questions and drive decisions
  • Review existing processes, recommend best fit solution, document technical requirements for building a more streamlined and enhanced process for sharing data (using APIs) with external vendors, while ensuring data privacy and integrity is not compromised
  • Develop and execute data mapping and transformation processes and requirements within and between applications and data sources
  • QA the enhancements or bug fixes to ensure code updates meet the documented functional requirements
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Create and implement data auditing/reconciliation protocols and procedures; conduct root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, execute fixes, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Analyze trends from data audits and cleansing to identify and recommend areas that require data, system, or process improvements
  • Conduct training and coaching of users on data feed reporting that the Company offers

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years in data/business analysis and reporting in Financial sector, preferably in the Retirement Plan recordkeeping business
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, most importantly with proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in SQL; additional programming languages a plus
  • Focus on quality, with attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and be willing to share his/her knowledge and experience with a team
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to use reporting software such as SSRS, Crystal Reports or others
  • Basic experience with data transfer and Application Programming Interface (API) tools and methods

Remote Work Information


For all virtual remote positions, in order to ensure employees can effectively perform their job duties with no distractions, we require an uninterrupted virtual work space and there is also an expectation of family care being in place during business hours. Compensation Information


The average salary for this position is expected to be between $75,000 and $130,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis. Other rewards and benefits may include: 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability, paid-time off, etc.
