- Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Assist with the preparation of court filings and motions.
- Assist with trial preparation, including conducting witness interviews and gathering and organizing evidence.
- Review and summarize medical and other technical records.
- Attend court proceedings and take notes.
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining case files and scheduling appointments.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, tenacious, unafraid of hard work and able to work without constant supervision.
Essential requirements
- Enrolled as a student at an accredited law school.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Familiar with legal terminology and procedures.
- Must possess excellent communication skills in verbal and written correspondence.
- Positive work attitude and the desire to grow.
