Job Overview


As the Compliance Coordinator, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will support the company’s legal, compliance, and due diligence needs. The Compliance Coordinator works as a liaison between the legal and sales teams to effectively manage the due diligence process. 

Essential Functions:


As the Compliance Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage and drive due diligence process for potential and existing customers
  • Managing requests and data involved in compliance requests and audits, supporting people across all departments involved in the gathering of compliance requests
  • Engage with clients/partners during the due diligence process
  • Help to evolve compliance and due diligence tools and processes
  • Responsible for effectively running the due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) response process and tools
  • Assist with related compliance functions and business analysis as needed
  • Respond to questions from around the company on subjects managed by the legal department
  • Legal research for various projects
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Required Education and Experience


  • B.A., B.S. or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with compliance, due diligence, contracts.  
  • Experience in a mortgage and/or credit industry, a major plus
  • Experience working in FinTech offering, SaaS and PaaS and IP, a major plus
  • Experience with digital due diligence tools (Responsive.io, or similar) a plus
  • Experience with compliance and due diligence requests
