GHX is looking for a Senior Angular UI Developer to be part of a small but critical team that develops a shared Angular library powering all other websites across the company. Our ideal candidate must be well-versed and comfortable working in all aspects of a single-page architecture.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, highly detail oriented, able to context switch easily, able to work with vendor/offshore team(s), good team player.You will work with other engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA to develop innovative solutions that meet company initiatives with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Angular libraries with shared components used by websites across the company
- Build modern, interactive websites using Angular
- Provide technical guidance for other teams using the shared library
- Stay current on the latest technologies and improve the library to support the future needs of the company
Key Duties
- Develop components and modules in an enterprise Angular library
- Document new and existing library functionality clearly and concisely
- Collaborate and train developers on other teams promoting high code standards
- Fully test and troubleshoot work, ensuring consistently error free results
Key Competencies
- Expert-level JavaScript / TypeScript programming in Angular
- Expert-level HTML5 / CSS3 skills
- Expert-level understanding of RXJS and common operators
- Experience with Angular Material
- Hands-on experience with UI testing and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, Karma, etc..
- Responsive design, web standards and UI/UX best practices
- SASS
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
- BS in Computer Science, or related degree (Math, Engineering, Computers) required, or a combination of education and related experience
- 8+ years’ professional development experience in web development
- 3+ years’ experience with Angular
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using NGRX and Redux stores
- Knowledge of OOP best practices and common design patterns
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Ability to identify areas for improvement
- Experience with REST, HTTP Protocols
