This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products. The Product Manager will identify, prioritize, document, elaborate and guide the effort required to create product, documentation, collateral, and demonstrations. The Product Manager serves as subject matter expert in all things related to the use of the product, its place in the market, the competitive landscape and product positioning. 

What You’ll Do


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine product vision, strategy, and roadmap to meet our current and future customer needs. 
  • Partner closely cross-functionally to shape, iterate, and deliver business and customer driven outcomes. 
  • Perform competitor, customer, and market analysis to identify customer needs, trends, market gaps, and new product opportunities. 
  • Develop product positioning, pricing, channel, and marketing strategies. 
  • Recommend product and website enhancements to improve user experience. 
  • Track performance of products to assess success and communicate delivery against metrics. 
  • Define and document product requirements and roadmaps for execution, sales and retention. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for every stage of product development. 
  • Prepare concise and accurate written responses to technical inquiries associated with sales proposals and presentations. 
  • Provide content to create marketing materials such as product slicks/profiles, webinars, presentations, demos, white papers, and product updates. 
  • Coordinate product launch activities including working closely with cross-departmental teams. 
  • Work with the engineering team to plan, specify and deliver product development projects. 
  • Understand customer commitments and ensure cross-functional alignment and execution for on-time and on-budget delivery. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase adoption and drive revenue growth and retention. 
  • Prioritize the implementation of new features, advocate for best-practices, and set specific timelines. 
  • Test new product features before release, provide feedback and prioritize issues. 
  • Provide input into prioritizing new areas for content development and product integration. 
  • Create support and training documents for internal and external users. 
  • Craft messaging and product story in partnership with sales and PMM enablement teams to ensure value-driven outcomes. 
  • Prepare and conduct Sales and Customer Experience enablement and training. 
  • Manage product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical initiatives and specifies the market requirements in relation to the business’s product. 
  • Ensure product line revenue achievements consistently meet plan. 
  • Create and conduct presentations for executive leadership team to measure product and business plan achievements. 
  • Act as subject matter expert capable of working across technical and non-technical teams to establish the value and importance for strategic initiatives. 
  • Create reports to analyze sales and retention data and trends to make product and business decisions. 

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years as a product manager for technical products or complimentary product experience. 
  • Expert in cross functional communication and multi-stakeholder buy-in 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven team player with co-workers and customers 
  • Experience building consumer facing applications 
  • Mobile application/mobile reactive build experience is a plus 
  • Experience working with Public Safety and Federal Institutions 
  • Experience working with Enterprise level customers and Product Suites 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with negotiation skills. 
  • Able to work effectively in a role requiring management by influence 
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and learn quickly 
  • Ability to travel up to 15% 
  • Experience working within an Agile product development process is preferred.
