Founded in 1982, and with deep roots in the textile industry since 1921, Intradeco has grown into a global vertical manufacturing company, supplying quality casual clothing and thermal underwear to major retailers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000 annual.
Who we are looking for:
The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement and supply chain processes within the organization. This role involves daily communication with global suppliers to place price inquiry, follow up production process, communicate product and packaging related information as well as working with cross functional teams within the company. The Sourcing Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to understand their sourcing needs and to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.Who You Are:
- Degree in Fashion/Supply Chain.
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel/textile industry.
- Must have fashion industry experience.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Accuracy and efficiency driven. Be able to handle data entry and spreadsheets quickly and accurately
- Understanding of product life cycle, from fibers through apparel manufacturing, planning and commercialization across a wide variety of apparel categories.
- Understanding of fabric specification is required.
- Strong understanding of price/cost relationship of materials options and the relative impact on retail price/target margins.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Soft Skills: Communication, organization, attention to details, problem solving, customer service.
What you will do:
*Work extensively with existing global suppliers.*Prepare and issue purchase orders and requisitions.*Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions.*Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions*Analyze data to support decision-making and improve sourcing strategies.*Provide regular reports on sourcing activities and performance metrics.*Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.*Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.*Margin file update.*Sending cost inquiry on all ladies/kids programs.*Following up all submittals from L/D, QUALITY, TRIMS on ladies & kids production.*Running cost sheets for all developments.*Shipping marks/sort code stickers for all non-WM shipments.*Contracts data entry to generate SAP POs.
