Clumio is looking for a rock star Accounting Manager to start as an independent contributor and build out a high-performance team over time. You will have the unique opportunity to wear many hats and make a significant impact on day-to-day business operations while scaling the organization to support very high growth levels. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting and month-end close
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end, consolidated financial statements and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Maintain records and work closely with CPA firm to complete clean and efficient GAAP audits
- Drive the implementation of systems for usage-based metering activity into Netsuite
- Employ processes and optimize efficiencies in all accounting functions
- Responsible for the formulation and consistent application of accounting policies and procedures to support the company's growth strategy
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management and the Board of Directors
- Communicate and manage actual and budget information with department leaders
- Provide supporting schedules and information for annual tax provisions, year-end tax return support, and other local tax compliance
- Timely filing of sales & use and property tax returns and annual 1099’s
- Responsible for accurate customer invoicing, collections and bill pay
- Assist in establishing international entities as needed to support hiring and expansion
- Manage company policies, system and compliance relating to T&E expenses
- Perform ad hoc analysis of bookings, expenses, headcount and cash flows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years professional experience, with at least 5 years of relevant month-end close experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Very competent with ERP systems, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
- Superb organizational skills, detailed-oriented and comfortable being hands on
- Good manager, coach and mentor that has demonstrated an ability to put high performance teams in place
- Strong business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
- Ability to function well in a team environment in a fast-growing environment
- Experience with a SaaS and/or usage-based business is a plus
- CPA preferred
Compensation
- Base salary for this full-time position ranges from $150,000 - $190,000 + equity + benefits.
- Our base salary figures are determined in good faith at the time of the job posting
- Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, licensure and certifications, and/or other business and organizational needs.
