The Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality SaaS applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Work primarily with Node.js and MeteorJS frameworks to enhance and maintain a stable and scalable SaaS product for the childcare industry.
- Understand and implement NoSQL queries, aggregation pipelines, and general MongoDB concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and mentor junior developers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software development with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency with Node.js.
- Experience with MongoDB, including writing performant database queries and aggregation pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Proven experience in writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with MeteorJS framework.
- Experience with VueJS and GraphQL.
- Experience with serverless computing and AWS.
- Knowledge of PHP and Symfony framework.
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience working in a SaaS product environment.
- Experience working in ed-tech or the childcare software industry.
