Job Profile:
As the General Manager your leadership will be critical in driving the operational excellence necessary to support the company’s strategic initiatives and growth trajectory. By fostering a collaborative and efficient administrative environment, you will ensure the Pakistan Team operates seamlessly and contributes significantly to the organization’s success. Your role will be essential in positioning the company as a leader in the software acquisition space, enabling it to scale effectively and achieve its long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee and streamline the daily operations of the office, ensuring all functions are performed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve administrative systems and processes to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership to align all departments with the company's mission and objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration across various departments such as finance, HR, IT, and compliance to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Promote interdepartmental communication and cooperation, ensuring cohesive and integrated efforts towards achieving organizational goals.
Strategic Decision-Making:
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans by providing data-driven insights and administrative expertise.
- Participate in executive-level decision-making, offering perspectives that enhance the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the organization.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, supporting team members’ career development and aligning their goals with organizational needs.
Resource Management:
- Manage and optimize the allocation of resources, including budget oversight, ensuring efficient use and maximum return on investment.
- Oversee procurement processes and vendor relationships to maintain cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, particularly those related to finance operations.
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks, safeguarding the organization’s assets and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
Innovation and Technology Integration:
- Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of the market.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within the software sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent strategic planning and decision-making capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operational management, risk management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in administrative and financial software systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with accounting ERP systems (NetSuite and SAGE Intacct considered a plus).
- Highly motivated and energetic with interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance
- Flexible work hours, including availability from 2PM to 10PM Pakistan Standard Time.
