Job Summary: Our Enterprise Portfolio Management Organization (EPMO) is seeking a dedicated, innovative and goal driven Director, Portfolio Management to provide leadership, coordination, and management of all the EPMO processes and functions. This role involves ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-wide projects aligning with the company's business objectives. In addition, this role will plan, budget, monitor, schedule and lead strategic projects leveraging project management tools to manage and drive successful completion. To be successful in this role, a candidate must be a leader with solid analytic skills, strong people skills, strong project management skills, be detail oriented and able to think outside the box. The Director, Portfolio Management is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the SVP, Financial Operations.
Location is either based out of our Peachtree Corners, GA office or remote. Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Project Implementation
- Plan, organize and implement portfolio projects by defining scope, tasks, required resources, facilitate and manage project stakeholders, develop and maintain project artifacts and communicate project status to leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and risk assessments to relevant stakeholders.
- Work with Project Managers on work plan improvement/implementation.
- Monitor project execution against planned schedule using baseline budgets.
- Monitor and report on variations relating to milestone submission and acceptance.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with projects.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Conduct internal project audits for the purpose of identifying risk associated with staff and/or client issues, impacting the ability to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure that recognized rate per hour and project margin are within the acceptable range and escalate relevant documented issues.
Governance and Standards
- Leverage and optimize project management methodologies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
Performance Metrics
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
- Report on project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership as required.
- Design and maintain key metrics reports and dashboards.
- Manage and maintain scheduling efficiency using PSA tool and application of best practices.
- Identify opportunities for project metrics and utilization improvement.
- Identify project resource needs and make informed recommendations based on available staff.

Required Experience:

- Prior use and knowledge of a Professional Services Automation (PSA) application.
- Experience running both business and large scale, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience in strategic planning and/or change management.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior use and knowledge of Salesforce and FinancialForce or comparable tools.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle concepts.
- PMI or equivalent certification.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require you to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.
