Vert is in search of an Ecommerce Media Manager to join our Digital Media team. This role will be integral to the ongoing strategy, execution, and optimization of e-commerce campaigns at Vert, one of our fastest-growing service areas.
We’re a growing agency supporting a variety of clients’ business goals through best-in-class digital strategy, and e-commerce is increasingly becoming a big part of this. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Vert’s Creative Strategy, Interactive, Media, and Analytics teams to tie together all components of e-commerce.Our ideal candidate has proven experience managing media campaigns to drive online sales, preferably in an agency setting or working for a retailer or direct-to-consumer organization where e-commerce was front and center.
You’ve definitely run successful campaigns on Amazon, Google, and paid social, and have probably dabbled in CTV, programmatic, and local platforms as well. You’re obsessed with optimization, keeping a close eye on performance, spearheading A/B tests, and working with other teams to think creatively about messaging and targeting.
This person will be responsible for:
- Strategic planning, setup, ongoing optimization, and reporting for ecommerce digital media campaigns across top channels (paid search, programmatic, paid social, CTV, etc.)
- Coordinating with Vert’s Creative Strategy, Analytics, and Interactive teams to align on messaging, creative, targeting, and destinations for respective campaigns where the goal is to drive e-commerce sales
- Maintaining and evolving a strong working knowledge of ecommerce platforms including Amazon (Seller / Vendor Central), Shopify, BigCommerce, Google Merchant Center, etc.
- Developing and providing subject matter expertise for ecommerce trends, research, and best practices as they relate to digital marketing programs and channels
- Coordinating with client teams to maintain and improve product databases and catalogs across key e-commerce platforms and technologies
- Coordinating with our Account Strategy team to ensure best practices, insights, and recommendations are effectively communicated and developed to support client business objectives
- Working with media vendors, requesting proposals via RFPs, issuing IOs, trafficking e-commerce media buys, and reconciling spend
- Analyzing results and activity from ecommerce campaigns by leveraging platform reporting, Google Data Studio dashboards, custom reports, Excel, etc., and translating KPIs to business insights
- Maintaining expertise in emerging digital trends and technologies via blogs, events, conferences, online learning, etc.
- Coordinating with Vert’s Analytics team to build attribution plans for Google Ecommerce reporting in Google Analytics, Amazon Analytics Beta, or other tracking tools
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of strategic and tactical ways to leverage CRM and SEO for incremental ecommerce sales or performance
- Amazon Advertising, Shopify Partners or Magento Partner certifications are a big plus
- Hands-on experience with catalog/feed management
- Experience with tools such as Jungle Scout, Moz.com (for Search Engine Optimization), A/B testing, etc.
- A background in people management, with demonstrated experience leading individuals and/or teams toward success
The salary range for this position is $60,000-80,000. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Atlanta office in the Morningside neighborhood.
