Position Overview:


The HR Generalist at Greyson will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in multi-state practices, compliance, and management of an HRIS system, particularly ADP Workforce Now. This role demands a foundational understanding of the key HR pillars, including Employee Relations, Recruiting, Compliance, Learning & Development, Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, DEI, and Workforce Planning. The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of corporate HR experience, ideally within a startup or scaling company environment.The ideal candidate is excited to grow their generalist expertise and work towards a specialist role within the HR field as the team grows.

 Strong leadership, communication and work ethic are a must. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations, and support performance management, and talent development initiatives.
  • Build and execute our employee relations roadmap, including planning and execution of employee-focused events, training, and activities.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Support the recruitment process, including job postings, screenings, and onboarding new hires, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist in recruitment, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Handle the maintenance and accuracy of HRIS records and employee data.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and exiting employees.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Support and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Administer and manage multi-state HR practices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, staying up to date with any changes.
  • Handle the annual filing of EEO-1 reports and other mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Maintain strong familiarity with multi-state employment guidelines and ensure company practices align with these standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance within the HRIS system.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  • HR Projects: Lead and support various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives as needed to enhance overall HR functions.
  • Support with creating engaging employee communications and materials.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for data entry to support accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and generating comprehensive reports.[NR1]

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a preference for experience in the retail or apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR practices and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing an HRIS system, with specific expertise in ADP Workforce Now and Reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced functions.
  • Basic recruiting skills and experience in candidate sourcing and interviewing. Prior LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools is a plus.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.
  • Previous experience in a startup or scaling company is highly desirable. 60000.00 To 65000.00 (USD) Annually
