Senior HR Manager – Wixom, Michigan – In-Person


Job Summary


Our client, Firebolt, a pioneering brand illumination company, is seeking a Senior HR Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will spearhead the strategic development and implementation of HR policies and programs to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and innovation.

This role is responsible for


Designing and executing HR initiatives to drive recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development, aligning with Firebolt's mission and growth strategies.Partnering closely with executive leadership and department heads to cultivate a culture of brand performance, connection, and stewardship.Leading the administration of HR programs, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and employee well-being across all touchpoints of the employee lifecycle.Overseeing payroll processing and collaborating with temporary agencies to manage payroll information.

This position reports to


The People & Performance Director.

The ideal candidate will have


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Business, or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR roles within geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Proficiency in analyzing enterprise data to drive HR solutions and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on empathy and influence.
  • Experience in change management and utilizing modern HR software tools and platforms.
  • SHRM® or HRCI Certified Professional desired.

Responsibilities


  • Establish key HR initiatives and systems including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training & development, and more.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Deploy employee engagement feedback mechanisms and manage the engagement calendar.
  • Oversee the Fun and Wellness Committee to plan community service events and activities.
  • Support Firebolt's brand tenets and in-house committees to foster belonging and allyship.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR roles.
  • Proficiency in modern HR software tools and platforms.
  • Experience in management roles preferred.
