About the Role
The Senior Technical Proposal Writer is responsible for creating and writing proposals for all ClassWallet proposal submissions (e.g., RFPs, RFIs, etc.). The job involves researching the proposal needs, collaborating with ClassWallet SMEs, working with Marketing to identify needed graphics/visuals, understanding ClassWallet products and services, and creating a proposal that details how the company can meet the requirements of the proposal.The Senior Technical Proposal Writer must have experience in writing State-level proposals, preferably in the ESA space, as well as a sharp attention to detail.
In addition, this person must work well under pressure and have an ease with meeting strict deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research competitors and competitive landscape to aid in writing proposals
- Write proposals and other documents that supports the work of the Proposal Team according to the ClassWallet brand
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and create technical content
- Edit written documents in a professional and credible manner
- Help with reviewing products, services, and project ideas
- Support the creation of strategies that help with the proposal development
- Rewrite proposals according to feedback
- Create presentations, as needed
- Collaborate with Marketing to create graphics and visuals
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of proven experience in writing proposals
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts
- Strong ability to write clear and concise proposals
- An understanding of government (RFI/RFQ/RFP) or other complex-contract bids
- Excellent research and analytical skills, including ability to analyze and interpret business or government data and information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a goal-oriented team environment
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Experience in writing software, such as Google Suite, MS Word, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, or Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly agile with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with project management
- Experience in the government Education Savings Accounts (ESA) space
