Vibenomics, a Mood Media Company, is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and pro-active individual to join our Accounting Team as a Senior Accountant. Our Senior Accountant serves an important role in the organization and assists with daily accounting activities as well as financial reporting to ensure financial compliance, accuracy, and business efficiency. This is a hybrid role, with the position expected to be in-office at least three days a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the month end close process, including preparation of monthly close calendars and communication to all business partners on relevant close milestones and timelines.
Prepare and review monthly close journal entries.
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Complete workpapers in parent company consolidation tool on a monthly basis
Maintain fixed asset subledger
Prepare customer reporting, interact with customers
Ensure customer revenue share reporting is completed timely.
Ensure third party reporting and payments are done timely.
Collaborate with parent company’s Finance and Accounting teams related to Oracle process creation and revisions, collaborate to ensure intercompany accounts stay balanced
Prepare workpapers as necessary information for external auditors
Ad-hoc analysis requests from senior management as needed.
Function as a back-up for accounts receivable and accounts payable
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.
2 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of accounting including understanding debits and credits, accruals, P&L’s and Balance Sheets.
Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
Outstanding integrity, sound moral judgment and the ability to make important decisions under pressure.
Self-motivated problem solver, analytical thinker and decision maker.
Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
