Internship Overview
As an Influencer Outreach & Organic Social Intern at Avenue Z, you will play a key role in executing and optimizing influencer, affiliate and organic social marketing strategies for our clients. Reporting to the Influencer Outreach & Organic Social Manager, your efforts will be crucial in creating innovative campaigns that amplify brand presence, foster authentic connections, and achieve business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute influencer and organic social campaigns that increase brand reach and foster meaningful connections with the target audience..
Responsibilities
Influencer & Affiliate Campaign Execution:
- Assist in planning and executing influencer and affiliate marketing campaigns aligned with clients' marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with account managers, creative teams, and social media specialists to integrate influencer content into broader marketing strategies.
- Ensure influencer content aligns with campaign themes, target audience, and brand guidelines.
- Identify and engage with influencers and affiliates that align with client brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, ensuring they have a positive experience working with our agency.
- Support influencers throughout the campaign lifecycle, from onboarding to content creation and post-campaign follow-up.
- Support the coordination of influencer product samples, maintaining detailed records of interactions and feedback to ensure that the products are received by the influencers to complete campaign deliverables.
Organic Social Media Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media content strategy and calendar aligned with clients' goals, target audience demographics, and relevant platform trends.
- Create and manage social media accounts on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, and Pinterest.
- Analyze competitor strategies to refine marketing strategies and capitalize on market gaps effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and effectively communicate it through social media accounts.
- Develop and curate engaging content calendars tailored to each client's brand identity, products, and target market.
- Write captivating copy for captions on all posts, driving meaningful interactions and engagement.
- Schedule all content within platforms to ensure regular posting and engagement, while monitoring and reporting on social media performance metrics.
- Foster and engage with the online community of client accounts, including responding to consumer comments on posts.
Content Coordination and Curation:
- Ensure that content meets brand standards and legal requirements.
- Influencer & Affiliate
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of high-quality influencer content.
- Manage a repository of influencer-generated content and facilitate its use across various marketing channels.
- Organic Social
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to produce visually appealing and compelling content (e.g., graphics, videos, GIFs) that resonate with the target audience.
- Work with the influencer marketing team to align content production for social posts, ensuring all necessary resources are available as outlined in the content calendar.
- Leverage user-generated content to enhance brand authenticity and engagement.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer and organic campaigns, measuring key metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Manager of Influencer Outreach and Organic Social, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and recommendations for optimization.
- Continuously evaluate and iterate on social media and content strategies based on performance data, industry shifts, and client feedback to drive measurable results.
Collaboration and Team Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, designers, copywriters, and paid media marketers, to ensure seamless integration into overall marketing strategies.
- Support the Manager of Influencer Outreach and Organic Social in leading team initiatives and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas, influencer collaborations, and content strategies.
Requirements
- Must be seeking a degree in communications, advertising, marketing, or comparable major.
- Must have the ability to intern for 24 hours minimum per week.
- Must have a laptop to use for the duration of the internship.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their functionalities, particularly TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.

What We Offer
