Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Workday's suite of products and possess expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions to meet our organization's needs. As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, analyze business requirements, and translate them into actionable configurations within the Workday platform. You will be responsible for conducting workshops, gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring Workday modules, and providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Additionally, you will play a key role in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, as well as providing training and documentation to end-users. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations and solutions.
- Lead workshops and gather requirements to design and configure Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Compensation, Absence Management, Time Tracking, and Talent Management.
- Configure Workday business processes, security roles, reports, and integrations to meet organizational needs and compliance requirements.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring quality and accuracy of configurations.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users, including training, documentation, and addressing inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about Workday updates, new features, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Finance, to ensure alignment of Workday configurations with overall business objectives.
- Participate in project planning, status meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience with Workday HCM and a deep understanding of Workday functionality, configuration, and business processes
- Strong knowledge of Workday deployment methodology, integrations, and customizations
- Proven ability to gather business requirements, design solutions, and implement Workday HCM modules
- Expertise in Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, payroll, absence, and reporting
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
