Your Role:


The Brand Protection Manageris responsible for all strategy development and implementation regarding the Brand Protection services and ensures services are being delivered in a satisfactory manner to all brand protection clients. Manages brand protection team personnel. Supports the organization in handling agreement drafting and other legal matters.   The person most successful in this role recognizes that the challenge of heading a team that is responsible for ensuring our clients’ brands have the appropriate level of protection in this fluid environment requires someone who can Organize, Conquer, and Deliver in a way that evolves constantly; to this end, this person will Own It, Iterate It, Improve It when it comes to this business unit and the corresponding service lines. 

Job Duties:


Oversee all brand protection services, departmental expansion, team operations, revenue/budget/forecast management, and manage the team on a day-to-day basis while also servicing the sales team in presenting to and working with prospects.·Responsible for making sure that departmental goals are met, clients are retained, and brand protection members are meeting their KPIs/goals.·Owns Budget/forecast, department P&L, team development, coaching, training, and management.·Maintain ongoing partnership relationships with brand protection partners.Explore opportunities to, and, if appropriate, add additional partners on the brand protection front for purposes of expanding service offering and/or revenue and/or margin in this area.·Draft prospect and client SOWs, agreement portions, and other legal documents as those documents pertain to the provision of brand protection services.·Lead Brand Protection employees and service efforts for brand protection clients across 3 stages of brand protection services.·Continue to expand, revise, and supplement brand protection services on an ongoing basis.·In consultation with the marketing department, create blogs and assist with other content-creating efforts to provide the marketing team with necessary brand protection material.

In the 1st Month, you will...


Learn the existing products and processes.Get to know current team, cross-departmental collaborators, and external partners.Familiarize yourself with current Brand Protection clients and contracts/SOWs.Begin attending client calls to listen.

Sharpen your skills in Month 2 by...


Provide feedback on opportunities to enhance products and processes.Engaging directly with clients as primary point of contact.Work with sales team on lower funnel brand protection opportunities.Recommend any development plans for existing Brand Protection team members.

Execute in Month 3 by...


·Responsible for all the items listed under the Job Duties section.

Desired Skills & Experience:


·Experience working with legal documents (i.e. drafting agreements, revising documents, negotiating terms, etc.)·Knowledge and expertise in the areas of trademark law and online brand protection best practices·Experience with TrackStreet and/or other similar brand protection technology and partners·Business degree or equivalent·Law degree preferred·Strong management skills·Strong grammatical and writing skills·Creative thinking and problem-solving skills·Excellent organizational and time management skills·Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills·A good facilitator that works well with teams·Data-driven and research-oriented·Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment with strong initiative and work ethic·Positive attitude$100,000 - $120,000 a yearApply for this job
