We are looking for a dynamic and versatile
NOC Engineer who will work on site at our customer location, bringing expertise, enthusiasm, and a proactive mindset to handle a variety of tasks and challenges. This role demands a broad skill set, including cloud infrastructure management, network administration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be personable, intuitively curious, and a self-starter, capable of handling responsibilities beyond the typical scope of NOC duties.This on-site (Westbury, Long Island) full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, along with an attractive benefits package encompassing medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and manage network operations, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Administer and maintain Azure Cloud environments.
- Manage Google Workspaces, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity tools for all users.
- Utilize MS Intune for device management and security.
- Perform network troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Cisco systems and other network hardware.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive IT support.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Document processes, incidents, and resolutions to maintain knowledge base and improve operations.
- Assist in other IT-related tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a NOC or similar role, with a broad understanding of network operations and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud management.
- Experience with administrating Google Workspaces.
- Skilled in using MS Intune for device management.
- Strong networking knowledge, including hands-on experience with Cisco systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication skills, with a personable and professional demeanor.
- Intuitive curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and taking on new challenges.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, Cisco, Google Workspace, MS Intune) are a plus.
