Head of Product

Everclear (prev Connext) is the First Clearing Layer. Everclear coordinates global settlement of liquidity between chains, solving fragmentation for modular blockchains. At scale, Everclear will be able to net over 80%+ transactions, automatically routing them through the best settlement mechanisms available, drastically increasing applications' scalability and capital efficiency. Through Everclear, end-to-end chain abstraction will become possible for every chain, asset, and application.Everclear’s bridge has $2.5B+ cumulative transactions volume and $1B+ bridged TVL.

We're funded by grants from the Ethereum Foundation and backed by the top VCs, including Polychain Capital, Consensys Ventures, 1kx, Pantera Capital, Hashed and others. 

The Everclear team is remote first and globally distributed, with English as primary language. We are looking for self-starters who are excited about building an industry first technology while working with talented crypto team members located all over the world!Responsibilities- Strategic planning for the full product portfolio of Everclear Protocol- Definition of and alignment around the product vision, strategy, and roadmap- Strategic oversight of product management processes of the protocol.

This includes oversight of the product backlog, ongoing prioritization, and tooling used- Advising on strategy/process/project management across partner projects and contributors- Definition of product goals, KPIs, and topline metrics. Oversight of the measures to achieve the objectives set- Strategic oversight around pursuing new product opportunities, including cost/benefit assessment in partnership with Ecosystem and Engineering- Balancing activities to drive meaningful and sustainable ecosystem growth- Ongoing research / awareness of competition and trends in the industry- Represent Everclear to strategic customers and the public, where relevant- Budget and PnL responsibility for the product org- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, managing / mentoring, and reviewing any new Product hires or similar.Requirements- 7+ years of experience in technical product management or a related role- 3+ years of leadership and management experience- Deep understanding of users / customers. - Communicating user needs and distilling user requirements to the organization. - Turning data into actionable product improvements.- Experience defining the product vision, strategy, and delivering value that solves problems for enterprise customers- Experience driving the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including: product and market research, competitive analysis, planning and positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, product launch.- Has deep empathy for developers as customers, ideally having been a developer in the past- Strong partner to engineering teams to ensure that product intentions and technical realities are aligned- Demonstrated experience prioritizing opportunities and clearly communicating the rationale behind decisions- Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking - Comfortable defining and tracking key business and success metrics- Passion for decentralized finance and deep knowledge of crypto- Demonstrated experience in an ecosystem setting or serving a wide variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to end users, key integrations, minor integrations, liquidity providers, etc.
