About Your Role
This hybrid, Atlanta-based role will be an integral part of the QGenda Learning & Culture Team. Through strategic planning, curriculum development, and effective delivery methods, the Employee Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering impactful learning experiences throughout the organization with a focus on employee development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing internal employee-focused training programs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Design and Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs
- Create comprehensive training outlines/storyboards, including identifying learning objectives, detailing all content, knowledge checks, etc.
- Develop training materials, guides, presentations, and resources to deliver training content effectively
- Partner with Instructional Designers to design the learning assets (eLearning, video, learning path, etc.)
Delivery and Facilitation
- Lead engaging training sessions both in-person and through virtual platforms
- Utilize various training methodologies, such as workshops, webinars, role-playing exercises, and eLearning modules, to cater to different learning styles
- Continuously improve training techniques and content based on feedback and evolving industry best practices
Program Management
- Implement and manage all aspects of assigned training programs, including sub-projects and related initiatives
- Maintain a project plan methodology detailing the status of all current and future training developments, communicating regularly with stakeholders
- Manage the rollout and communications of all assigned training programs, reporting, and ongoing content updates.
Program Evaluation
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of training programs by measuring improvements in performance and knowledge
- Analyze training metrics and feedback to identify areas of improvement and make necessary adjustments to training content and methods
- Collaborate with leaders and HRBP to create tailored training plans for individuals, as needed
Who You Are
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive improvements in training effectiveness
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and balance competing priorities
Experience You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Education, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- 4+ years of experience in a professional development, corporate learning, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
- Experience conducting needs analysis meetings and developing content into storyboards
Not Required, But Nice to Have
- Experience in the technology (or relevant) industry is preferred
- Experience with Docebo LMS, Leapsome, ADP, Adobe Suite, Agile and AWS/Cloud development principles preferred but not required
