Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role encompasses various HR functions, including talent recruitment, new-hire onboarding, internal training, and administration of company policies.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Human Resources, particularly in talent acquisition and training. Key qualities include patience, compassion, excellent listening skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Experience as a trainer in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates for all open positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and job requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background verifications.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive new-hire onboarding programs and orientations.
Education and Training:
- Ensure all mandatory training and continuing education is completed and documented, including safety training, code of conduct, anti-harassment training, and required certifications.
- Stay current on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law.
Internship Program:
- Coordinate intern schedules to ensure comprehensive experience across all departments and locations.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong multitasking abilities and composure in emergencies.
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems; knowledge of ADP and JAZZHR is a plus.
- Food handler and Alcohol awareness program certifications (ServSafe and TIPS certifications) are a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Reporting Line:
- Reports to the Director of Human Resources.
