This Android engineer will work closely with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. ● Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features● Work with internal and external APIs● Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability● Work on bug fixing and improving application performance● Review and debug code● Possess great leadership skills● Document development phases and monitor systems● Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
Requirements:
● Proven software development experience and Android skills development● Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices● Have published at least one Android app to the Play Store● Experience with Android SDK● Minimum of 5 years of working experience with Kotlin for building Android applications● Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON● Experience with third-party libraries and APIs● Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies● Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.● Collaboration with designers and other engineers in app development.
