The project
TECKpert seeks to hire a Full Stack .NET Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Miami, FL. The .NET Developer is a member of a full lifecycle agile development team developing front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating responsive web applications and working within an Azure environment.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET 6 framework.
- Design and implement front-end features using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness of web applications.
- Develop and manage ASP.NET Core MVC web applications.
- Utilize C# for application development, ensuring robust and maintainable code.
- Implement dependency injection to improve code modularity and testing.
- Develop RESTful APIs, ensuring compatibility with JSON and XML formats.
- Integrate and manage Azure Active Directory for user authentication and authorization.
- Implement Azure Service Bus messaging for reliable communication between services.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Perform code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects.
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position. Pay varies with experience up to $105,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.
Qualifications you need
A successful Full Stack .NET Developer possesses or provides the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on software development.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development using the .NET framework (.NET Core / NET 6).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing in C#.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in front-end development (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript).
- Advanced knowledge of the .NET 6 framework and ASP.NET Core MVC.
- Proven track record of developing .NET Core web applications and working with the .NET 6 framework.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab for source control and CI/CD processes.
- Familiarity with full-stack development principles and practices.
- Understanding of dependency injection principles.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and its integration.
- Proficient in Azure Service Bus for messaging.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certifications in .NET development or Azure technologies is preffered.
