Full Stack .NET Developer to join our client's internal software development team in Miami, FL.

The project


TECKpert seeks to hire a Full Stack .NET Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Miami, FL. The .NET Developer is a member of a full lifecycle agile development team developing front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating responsive web applications and working within an Azure environment.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET 6 framework.
  • Design and implement front-end features using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness of web applications.
  • Develop and manage ASP.NET Core MVC web applications.
  • Utilize C# for application development, ensuring robust and maintainable code.
  • Implement dependency injection to improve code modularity and testing.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, ensuring compatibility with JSON and XML formats.
  • Integrate and manage Azure Active Directory for user authentication and authorization.
  • Implement Azure Service Bus messaging for reliable communication between services.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects.

Compensation and Term 


This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position. Pay varies with experience up to $105,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 

Qualifications you need


A successful Full Stack .NET Developer possesses or provides the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a focus on software development.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development using the .NET framework (.NET Core / NET 6).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing in C#.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in front-end development (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript).
  • Advanced knowledge of the .NET 6 framework and ASP.NET Core MVC.
  • Proven track record of developing .NET Core web applications and working with the .NET 6 framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitLab for source control and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development principles and practices.
  • Understanding of dependency injection principles.
  • Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and its integration.
  • Proficient in Azure Service Bus for messaging.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications in .NET development or Azure technologies is preffered.
