About Position:
We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Java and Kotlin to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Architect and implement efficient and reusable backend systems for optimal performance.
- Write clean, well-designed, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize and troubleshoot applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java and Kotlin.
- Expertise in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modelling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) for full-stack development.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge on AWS Deployment
- Familiarity with security best practices in backend development.
- Contributions to open-source projects or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
