Job Description
Juvare is looking for a paralegal for our contracting team.This position would be a strategic advisor to the executive team. It plays a key role in assisting the leadership team with drafting key agreements related to the company’s business initiatives and summarizing key provisions therein.The successful candidate will have a variety of contract management experience with preference towards someone who has SaaS software and/or government contract experience. Experience drafting and redlining contract agreements from templates is also required.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Draft, review, and redline nondisclosure agreements, consultant agreements, master service agreements, purchase orders, statements of work, sole source letters, amendments, assignments, and terminations.
- Manage signature process for various agreements and documents including routing client purchase orders and invoices.
- Manage the Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests and responses.
- Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they follow client policies and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Record contract components for appropriate revenue recognition.
- Coordinate all aspects of the contract review cycle from initiation, approvals, signature process, distribution, and archiving.
- Manage the state entity registration program in collaboration with our registered agent.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including sales, deal desk, finance, business technology, security and procurements teams.
- Assist in the administration of internal legal processes and operations.
- Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.
- Continually develop subject matter expertise.
- Maintain performance standards by ensuring availability as necessary to fulfill client requested needs; ensuring excellent work quality and efficiency; and fulfilling expectations on all essential duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Certification or associate’s degree in paralegal studies (bachelor’s degree is preferred)
- A minimum experience of two years in a paralegal role
- Experience in preparing legal reports
- Excellent communication and time management skills
