 Live events are back, and we are busier than ever! Due to recent acquisition, we are adding a Show Prep Specialist to our Operations team.  This position requires someone who lives in the details and is passionate about connecting the dots that make up the big picture. A flexible and resourceful organizer who is a pro both behind a computer and in front of customers. The Show Prep Specialist ensures the reliability of critical data and the availability of information necessary for successful show planning and execution.

The Specialist is a key partner in delivering a positive service experience to show labor, clients, and vendors.  The Specialist needs to be able to work independently and exercise the best discretion when dealing with our sales team, vendors and customers.  This position is key to Nth Degree’s business operation and whose performance impacts our customer’s experience. You will report directly to Senior Director of Revenue Operations and Pricing and be based out of our corporate office in Duluth GA.  We do function in a hybrid capacity; typically two days in the office-three days remote.   Pay rate is $25/hour.   This position will handle west coast shows; hours will be 11am-8pmEST Monday-Friday.

  

What You’ll Do:


  • Without direct supervision, you’ll research, compile, communicate, and enter critical information for existing and new shows throughout the year.  You’ll also need to add floorplans, quick fact, show kits and COIs to the show record.   In addition, it’s critical to gather competitive information such as general contractor labor rates, shipping rates and carpet pricing.  You’ll work closely with the sales team as well as direct interaction with our customer base when managing these shows.
  • Accurately follow the show closing process with entering critical information that impacts the revenue forecast for the company.
  • Submit Certificates of Insurance and notification letters to show organizers and contractors.  COIs often require a review of the specific langauge so you’ll need the experience in interpreting overall contractual language and language specific to limits of liability and  waiver of subrogation.
  • The volume of emails and requests are significant.  Individual must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  Additional requests that are managed by show management include but are not limited to the following:  changes to existing COIs, provide floorplans to the client, copies of facility agreements, additional endorsements, right of entry and hold harmless agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:


  • 5+ years’ data entry experience; trade show industry familiarity preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and internet research
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superior attention to detail    
  • Prior customer service or sales experience with specific interaction with customers
  • Expert time management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to a quickly and gracefully rapidly-changing environment. 
  • Former responsibility of managing credit cards with large limits
  • Contractual experience as it relates to matters of insurance as well as interpreting general contractual terms.
  • Proactive, flexible, and confident in taking ownership of important details and relationships.
  • Ability to work independently without guidance.
  • Superior problem-solving ability.
